Mechtec is a team of professionals in the field of custom-built machinery design for plant facilities including cutting machines, deburring machines, automated machines, improvement of jigs, full-scale automation and cost reduction, as well as robot control systems.

It is said that factory automation equipment without control software is just a box. Mechtec is a unique and distinctive company that provides services for both hardware and software for embedded control systems, in addition to factory automation and mechatronics.

Only 3 percent of companies survive for 30 years since their establishment. It is believed that only companies that have advantages in technology, management, capital and vision can continue in business.

President Keizo Kasama founded Mechtec when he was 36 years old, and he has been at the forefront of mechanical design throughout the 42 years of his career in system design. His abilities and unique sense of system design are well respected and have attracted the attention of many customers.

To give you a better idea about our company, this insight into the personality of President Keizo Kasama will help. President Keizo Kasama has a wealth of knowledge in National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) technologies, aerodynamics and chemistry. When not working, he enjoys reading Japanese historical novels, astronomical observation, listening to jazz, gathering wild vegetables, and eating melonpan (a Japanese melon bun), soba (buckwheat noodles), ramen (Chinese noodles), and drinking tea.

While on a business trip with him, when taking a break at a highway rest area, he talked about his childhood in Nagasaki nostalgically, while eating melonpan, exemplifying his intelligence and down-to-earth personality.

He quit smoking when his first son was born. He is trusted by his employees, who view him with friendliness and tenderness, although he is strict and occasionally scolds his subordinates at work.

He has a well-balanced personality and expresses his passions openly, a common characteristic of people who grew up in the Kyushu region (South Japan), while carrying out his duties with persistence, a trait of people from the Tohoku region (North Japan).

With the slogans of "Serving as an engineer throughout a lifetime" and "Where there is a will, there is a way," he encourages both employees and himself.

President Keizo Kasama always gives careful consideration to the training of engineers and the creation of a development environment. For example, he introduced CATIA V5, world-class 3D CAD software, ahead of our competitors.

The mission of Mechtec, the All-round Mechanical Design Services, is to integrate machinery, electronic and software services, help engineers and technicians dedicating themselves to technological development on site, and to become an appreciated and trusted company as a bridge to the future. 1985 Business expands considerably through businesses with leading listed companies.
